This article only applies to apps who have their apps hosted on their own developer account. This does not apply to apps that are hosted with the MyStudio developer account.

— There have been some revisions to the Firebase process that requires a different App Bundle ID than the one you created initially.
— Please follow these instructions to revise your App Bundle ID and Firebase.
— Apple will not approve your app without this revision.

BEFORE YOU START,  
you must use GOOGLE CHROME Browser for these instructions.

STEP 1
  Log in to your Apple App Store Connect account.
STEP 2  Click My Apps

STEP 3  Click on your app.

STEP 4   You should be in the APP INFORMATION tab on the left hand menu. Next scroll down and you should see the CORRECT APP BUNDLE ID

STEP 5  COPY this App Bundle ID and paste it in your notes

STEP 6  Open a new browser tab at the top and log in to your Google Firebase account.

STEP 7  Click on GO TO CONSOLE on the top right.

STEP 8  Select the existing project your created. 

Note:  If you do not see an existing project, then you are either logged in to the wrong Google account or you had not created a project yet. If you had not created a project yet, then please follow these instructions.

STEP 9  Select the iOS app at the top as seen in the below image and SELECT THE GEAR SETTINGS ICON

STEP 10   Scroll down and select remove this app. 

*Note: if you are not using Google Chrome browser, them you will not see this option. You can download Chrome here.


STEP 11   Select REMOVE APP PERMANENTLY.

STEP 12  REPEAT the same steps to remove the ANDROID app.


STEP 13  Scroll down and select ADD APP

STEP 14  Select IOS

STEP 15   Under IOS BUNDLE ID, paste your NEW APP BUNDLE ID that we copied in your notes and SELECT REGISTER.

STEP 16   Click next on steps 2, 3 and 4, then select SKIP THIS STEP on step 5.

STEP 17   Scroll down and select ADD APP AGAIN to add ANDROID.

STEP 17   Select the ANDROID ICON.

STEP 18   Under Android Package Name, paste your NEW APP BUNDLE ID that we copied in your notes.

STEP 19   Under DEBUG SIGNING CERTIFICATE, paste this text: 03:df:c5:74:06:2a:63:46:0c:fe:d1:71:38:c3:08:04:db:df:1a:b0

STEP 20   SELECT REGISTER.
STEP 21  
Click next on steps 2, 3 and 4, then select SKIP THIS STEP on step 5.
