      Facebook Developer Account - Data Use Protection Policy

      Update your Data Use Protection Policy in your Facebook Developer Account

      Recently Facebook has updated their Data Use Protection Policy which needs to be enabled in your Facebook developer account.

       

      STEP ONE: Login into your Facebook developer account at https://developers.facebook.com

       

      STEP TWO: Go to -> My Apps -> Choose Data Use Check Up -> Choose your App -> Data Use Checkup * Past Due -> Get Started.

       

      STEP THREE: In Certify Data Use check both:

      • I certify that any use of email is in compliance with the allowed usage.

      • I certify that any use of public_profile is in compliance with the allowed usage.

      And then Continue

       

       

      STEP FOUR: in Certify Compliance with Platform Terms and Developer Policies, choose:

       

      I certify compliance with the Facebook Platform Terms and Developer Policies, together with all other applicable terms and policies.

       

      And then Continue and then Submit.
