Add belt sizes in MyStudio Classic (V1)

Easily track and manage participant belt sizes for orders, testing events, and rank promotions.

Overview

There is a new belt size section in MyStudio Classic (V1) designed for better tracking and participant management. This dedicated field under the primary customer account allows you to record participant belt sizes with preselected options ranging from 0000 to 10, making it faster and easier to keep participant records accurate and organized.

Why put in belt sizes

Adding belt sizes helps your studio:

  • Keep track of which belts to order.
  • Prepare for testing events and rank promotions (especially in V2), where you’ll need to collect the number of belt colors and sizes for each participant.

How to add belt sizes

  1. Login to MyStudio V1.

  2. Go to “All Customers."

  3. Click on “Primary Customers."

  4. Select the primary customer whose participants you want to edit.

  5. Find “Participants” to see a list of participant(s) under the primary customer.

  6. Click the edit pencil to add or update a participant's name, date of birth, gender, and/or belt size.

  7. Click the box below Belt Size and select the correct size from the dropdown. Options range from 0000 to 10.

  8. Click “update details."

Can I add multiple participants’ belt sizes at once?

No, belt sizes must currently be added individually under each primary customer account.

What if a participant does not have a known belt size?

Leave the field blank or update it once the information is available. You can also select "unknown" from the dropdown if the size is not yet known.

These options represent standard belt sizes used by martial arts programs, with 0000 being the smallest size and 10 being the largest.
