How to Limit Which Programs and Trials Can Sign Up (Custom Access)
Use the custom access settings to control which memberships and trials can register for a class.
- Open the class editor.
- Scroll to the Registration & Access section.
- Toggle on Enable Custom Access.
- Select the memberships and/or trials that are allowed to register.
- Save your changes.
How to Set Up Scheduling Restrictions (Registration Windows)
Registration windows are configured in global settings and apply to all classes.
- In V2, go to Classes & Appointments > Settings.
- Find the Scheduling Restrictions section.
- Toggle on Use scheduling restrictions for when customers can schedule.
- Enter the minimum number of hours before a class that students can register.
- Enter the maximum number of days in advance that students can register. The maximum allowed value is 180 days.
- Save your changes.
Note: Ongoing registrations also respect the maximum days setting. For example, if the limit is 90 days, ongoing registrations will only extend up to 90 days out.
How to Set Up Blockout Dates (Holidays & Closures)
Use blockout dates to stop new registrations for classes during specific periods, such as holidays, closures, or maintenance windows.
- In V2, go to Classes & Appointments > Blockout Dates.
- Click Create New.
- Enter a start date and end date.
- Add a note describing the reason for the blockout (e.g., holiday, maintenance).
- Choose which classes are affected: all classes, or specific classes.
- For specific classes, you can also select individual class times if needed.
- Save the blockout date.
Note: Blockout dates prevent new registrations only. Existing future registrations are not automatically cancelled and must be managed manually.
How to Hide a Class from Ineligible Users
When custom access is enabled, you can also hide the class from users who are not eligible.
- Open the class editor.
- Scroll to the Registration & Access section.
- Enable Custom Access and select the allowed memberships/trials.
- Toggle on Hide Section from Users Without Access.
- Save your changes.
Note: This removes the class card entirely for ineligible users. They will not be able to see or register for the class.
How to Set a Class to View Only
You can configure a class so that members can see it but cannot register online.
- Open the class editor.
- Scroll to the Details section.
- Under Member Visibility, select View Only.
- Save your changes.
Members will be able to see the class on the schedule but will not see a registration option.
How to Require Students to Log In Before Registering
- In V2, go to Classes & Appointments > Settings.
- Toggle on Require customers to log in to view and register for classes.
- Save your changes.
How to Hide Classes from All Sales Channels
- In V2, go to Classes & Appointments > Settings.
- Toggle off Show Classes & Appointments on Sales Channels.
- Confirm when prompted.
Note: Turning this off will disconnect all classes and appointments from any connected memberships and trials. This also hides classes entirely and customers will not be able to be registered for these.
