V2: Eligible rank promotions participants

Easily manage student rank advancements with our rank promotion. In this section you can add participants, invite them to events, check rank prerequisites, and set up an event invite automation.

    How to access the eligible participants list in the rank promotions

    To access the eligible participants list for the rank promotions:

    1. Log into MyStudio V2.

    2. Go to the rank promotions section with the stopwatch icon.

    3. Go to the eligible participants subsection.

    Accessing certificate creation from the rank promotions

    You can access the rank certificate creation from the eligibility list.

    1. Access the eligible participants list.

    2. Click the “certificates” button.

    3. Select your desired layout.

    You will then be redirected to customize your certificate. For more information on certificate customization, check out our V2: Print Center > Rank Certificates article.

    How students are manually added to the eligible participants list

    To manually add students to the eligible participants list:

    1. Access the eligible participants list.

    2. Click “add eligible participants” at the top right.

    3. Search for a participant.

    4. Click “add to list.”

     

    Tip: students can be added to the eligibility list even if they haven’t fulfilled attendance or skill prerequisites for rank advancement.

    How students are automatically added to the eligible participants list

    To set up an automation to add students automatically to the eligibility list:

    1. Access the eligible participants list.

    2. Click “automations” at the top right.

    3. Toggle the “add participants to the list when” setting to “on.” It is on when the toggle is blue.

    4. Choose when the automation should automatically add participants.

    5. Save the automation at the bottom.

    “Add participants to the list when” settings

    The “add participants to the list when” setting has two options:

    1. Attendance count is complete.

    2. Skills are complete.

     

    Between the options, choose “and” if both options need to be true in order for students to be added to the list.

    Choose “or” if students can have one or the other option be true in order to be added to the list.

    Information in the eligible participants list

    Columns in the eligible participants list can be removed so that only pertinent information appears.

    1. Access the eligible participants subsection.

    2. Click “columns” on the right-hand side above the table.

    3. Deselect any irrelevant columns to remove them from the table.

     

    Tip: you can also reorder the columns by dragging and dropping the options from the columns selection list, or by clicking and dragging the columns themselves in the table.

    The registration column in the eligible participants list

    The registration column in the eligible participants list gives you three kinds of information:

    1. Blank (-): this shows as a dash in the table cell and means that the student has neither been invited to a ranked event nor registered for one.

    2. Invited: this means the student has been invited to a rank event but has not registered for it yet.

    3. Registered: this means the student has registered to a rank event.

    How to remove students from the eligibility list

    Students are currently only removed from the eligibility list manually.

    1. Access the eligible participants subsection.

    2. Check the box next to the participant(s) you want to remove.

    3. Click “remove” above the table.
