What are placeholders?
Placeholders allow you to customize an email or mobile message by having the system auto-fill information based on the placeholder you put in the subject or body of the email. Placeholders will function depending on the section of the system you are sending the message from. The placeholders that will function correctly for the email icon in V2 are:
- primary customer placeholders (“first name” and “last name”)
- participant placeholders (“first name”, “last name”, “age” and “birthday”).
Lead field placeholders, trial fields, membership fields, and event fields placeholders will function in V2 from those contact sections as those sections are developed.
Placeholders aren’t working
Currently V2 only supports primary customer placeholders (“first name” and “last name”), and participant placeholders (“first name”, “last name”, “age” and “birthday”). All other placeholders in V2 will function in their specified contact sections as those sections are developed.
