Trials let customers try your services before committing to a membership. This article covers the global settings that apply to every trial.

Trial settings
Where: Services and products > Trials > Settings

Visibility
Use the Show trials on sales channel toggle to control whether customers can find and register for trials.

When toggled on, trials will be available via:

Any shared trial links
Sales channel trials URL:

Share the provided link with customers to show all published trials. Click Copy to copy the link.
Change display name:
-
This controls how the trials section is labeled for this section, including what customers will see on the Point of Sale.

Tax and processing fees
Apply taxes:

Toggle on to collect sales tax on trial purchases. Enter the percentage you want to charge.
Apply processing fees:
-
Processing fees are charged by credit card companies and your payment processor. Choose who covers them:

Click Save when done.

Toggle on Enable source field while customers register to ask customers how they found your business during registration.
Sources are displayed as options customers can select. Default sources include:

To add a custom source:

Click + Add new

Enter the source name
-
Click Save

Statuses: Customize your trial status and conversion system
Trial statuses track where a customer is in the trial process. Default statuses are listed below.

To add a custom status:

Click + Add new

Enter the status name

Click Save
Note: All custom statuses are classified as an active type of status.
