How to invite customers to the member app

Members need your studio code to connect to your studio when they create their account. You can share it two ways:

Option 1: Send an email invite

Send app access instructions directly to one member or many at once.

  • Single invite — enter one email address at a time.

  • Bulk invite — upload a CSV file to send to multiple people at once.

Each invite email automatically includes:

  • Download links for the iOS and Android member apps.

  • A link to the member website (for members who prefer a browser).

  • Your unique studio code.

Option 2: Download the marketing flyer

Download and print a ready-made PDF flyer to hand out at your studio, events, or open houses.

Download Flyer

The flyer includes:

  • Two QR codes — one for the Apple App Store, one for Google Play

  • Your unique studio code

You can also post the flyer at your front desk or entrance so members can sign up on their own.

Your studio code

Members enter your studio code when creating their account for the first time. It connects them to your specific studio.

View your studio code

Your studio code appears in blue text under Step 2 of the Customer Access screen. If you haven't changed it before, it will be a randomly generated code.

Change your studio code

Read before changing:

  • Changing your studio code will also change your shared links for trials, memberships, events, and retail. If any of these links are posted on social media, marketing sites, or other platforms, those links will break and need to be updated.
  • Current members who are already logged in won't be affected immediately — but once they log out, they'll need the new code to log back in. Make sure to communicate the new code to them.

Steps:

  1. Log in to MyStudio V1.
  2. Go to Sales Channel > Member App / Portal > Settings.
  3. Click the edit pencil icon next to the current studio code.
  4. Enter your new studio code.
    • Must be unique (not used by another studio)
    • Letters, numbers, or a combination — no spaces or special characters
    • Not case sensitive ("balancefitness" and "BALANCEFITNESS" work the same)
  5. Click Save.

The new code will now appear in the Customer Access section in V2.

Troubleshooting: member can't log in

If a member is having trouble logging in, check the following:

  • They downloaded the correct app (Apple or Android).
  • They entered the correct studio code.
  • They're using the same email address they used when originally registering for a membership, trial, or event.
