Fulfill retail orders



Orders for retail items will display in operations > retail orders. In this section you can switch views between all, unfulfilled, fulfilled, and canceled. You can also export the list or search for a specific order.

 

The table will show the date the transaction was made, the buyer attached to the order, and what was ordered. To change the status of an order, simply click on the status shown, enter any notes if needed, and click “fulfill.”

 



If you fulfill an order on accident, click on the buyer name to open the order details. You will see the order history at the bottom where you can click “undo fulfillment” to put the status back into “unfulfilled.”

 




Order notes

From the internal order details page, you will see details pertaining to what was ordered, how many were ordered, costs, fees, and any order history notes.

 



Click “add note” next to order history to enter any internal notes such as communication confirmations, back orders, etc. Notes can be up to 700 characters long. You can edit or delete notes at any time.

 

 


Cancel order

To cancel an order, click “edit order” at the top right. Then edit the quantity to 0 and click “process change.”

 




This will process a refund for the item towards the original payment. 

 




Apply refund

 



To apply a refund to a retail order but not cancel it, click on “apply refund.” Enter the amount you want to refund. This can be a partial refund of at least $1 or the full amount. Select the item to attach the refund. If the order was paid with cash or check, you will be told to issue a physical, manual refund of either cash or check. Then click “ok.”

 

If you entered a partial amount, you will then be shown what would be remaining.

 



Lastly, a final confirmation screen will show.



Once fully processed, the refund details will appear.

 



If you only did a partial refund, you can issue further refunds at any time with the same steps. You can also edit the order to cancel it entirely which will issue the remaining amount as a refund.
